Direct Primary Care, or DPC, is a membership model of healthcare that allows doctors to treat patients without the constraints of a traditional insurance-based practice.
All in-home or virtual visits, phone visits, and text messages are included. A yearly comprehensive physical is included with additional lab fees. In-home labs including rapid strep tests and basic urine analysis are included. If possible and safe, we will try to handle as much of your healthcare by phone or electronic messaging. The goal is to save you time, energy and money.
An affordable monthly membership fee (with discounts for annual billing) allows you to budget your healthcare dollars. No copays, deductibles, co-insurance or hidden costs will prevent you from getting the primary care that you need. The payments are convenient and automatic from your bank account or credit card.

No, we do not. We are sure you have felt the challenges of an insurance-based practice: difficulty reaching your doctor, communication through a medical assistant, long wait times, and rushed office visits. Without the constraints of insurance contracts, we are able to offer direct and easy access, limited to no wait times, same-day or next day appointments and electronic or phone visits.
Yes. Remember you can use your health insurance or Medicare for laboratory testing, imaging, medications, specialist visits and hospitalizations.
If you have an HMO, Inspire Personal Health is able to collaborate with your in-network primary care provider for referrals, lab orders and medication prior authorizations if needed.
Starting January 1, 2026, HSA accounts will be able to use up to $150 a month for your membership fees.
We recommend that our members continue to have health insurance to ensure financial help with medications, labs, imaging, specialist visits and hospitalizations. With that being said, having health insurance is not a requirement to be a member.
In some cases, you can submit a receipt for your membership fees and some insurance companies will apply these payments towards your deductible. Please reach out to your insurance to find out if this applies to you.
With easy access to your primary care provider, we strive to decrease urgent care visits and hospitalizations. In instances where hospital care is required, we work closely with the hospitalists and specialists who are taking care of you. We rely on their expertise when hospital care is necessary and we are ready to assume post-hospital follow-up care after discharge from the hospital.
Yes. We know that illness and injury do not always happen during normal business hours. So, if there is a concern that can't wait, we encourage you to contact us. We also offer after hours and weekend appointments per request for those that are unable to take time off work during normal weekday business hours. This is just one of the ways we provide personalized care.
Sherryl is not accepting new patients for pharmaceutical treatment of chronic pain requiring narcotic pain medication. Patients with chronic pain are encouraged to seek care from a pain management specialist.
Sherryl also does not prescribe controlled sedatives (benzodiazepines) for treatment of chronic anxiety or stimulants for ADHD. Patients with chronic anxiety requiring sedatives or ADHD requiring stimulants are encouraged to be cared for by a psychiatrist. If you have specific questions about conditions that we treat or medications that we prescribe, please contact us.
At this time, Sherryl is offering in-home visits in Wylie, TX and surrounding areas. She is also offering online virtual visits for those outside of Wylie anywhere in Texas. In-home visits are offered Monday - Friday 9am-4pm. Evening or weekend appointments are available upon request.
As the practice grows, a permanent location will be offered for those that would like to have additional in office options.
We maintain scrupulous standards of privacy. We are never obligated to provide any third party with a copy of your records unless you specifically ask us that we do so.
You can cancel your membership at anytime and there is no cancellation fee. We always need a 30-day advance notice for your cancellation as we are required by law to offer 30 days of care after the patient-physician relationship has ended. If a previous member would like to re-enroll in less than one year, we do charge a $150 re-enrollment fee.
